About The Bounce Board

In the film industry, a bounce board is a tool used to reflect light onto the set to properly capture the director’s vision for a scene. Lighting can make or break an audience’s reception of an entire film, so devices like bounce boards are crucial for every modern filmmaker's shot at success. 

With The Bounce Board, we hope to shed light on the industry's latest and best releases through reviews, articles, and discussions.

The Bounce Board was actually born as an extension to the popular movie podcast McNeill and Friends where movie-buff McNeill Mullikin and his group of film-fanatic friends discuss a variety of topics related to the industry. 

In addition to reviews and articles, here on The Bounce Board we’ll publish article conversions of the newest and most popular McNeill & Friends episodes. Recurring friends from the podcast will also be invited to write and publish their own stories on the platform.

Finally, as each new year rolls over The Bounce Board will host The Golden Nugget Awards. Keep your eyes peeled for the Golden Nugget Nominee symbol as reviews are published throughout the year and be sure to vote for your favorite films when the polls open at the end of the year!
